My hometown is important to me. In comparison to large cities or ancient english settlements, the humble new town isn't much celebrated. Please enjoy a tour of the stories of Crawley that interest me the most.
Moka Nightclub was the biggest nightclub in Crawley, situated next to the train station (which it was bigger than) in the centre of town. A warehouse type structure, it had two floors, two bars, an upstairs smoking balcony, and a maze of storage and backrooms.
It opened as Ikon/Diva in the 80's.
As the biggest club in Crawley, it was enjoyed by many clubgoers from the area, as well as Bar Med and Flanigans. If you've seen any of Romesh Ranganathan's standup, You may be familiar with them.
